We now return to our regular programming...
It's been about a year and a half since I discovered the Thrill The World event. I was all set to do this and then I got pregnant with my little guy and that went out the window. With the recent death of Michael Jackson, one of my favorite artists, I was quickly reminded that I had left this zombie-dance-fest on the back burner. I'd really like to do it this year, so time to pick up my little project and get the gears in motion.
Dust off your dancing shoes and join me this year on Saturday Oct 24 at 8:30 pm.
Even if you have two left feet and don't like to dance, I could still use you in other supportive roles (music, video, photography, fund raising, secretary, treasurer, media liason, witness, location scout, sugar daddy, lollipop holder, shoe shiner, mime, etc), so don't let your dancing allergies stop you from joining in on the fun.
I will post more information as it becomes availble. In the meantime, click on the Thriller teaching videos link over on the right and start learning the dance!

Let's Thrill Miami
I was checking out some of those cool Thriller wedding dances on youtube the other day and thought to myself..."wow, it would be fun to do that...I wish I could get a group together to learn the dance and do it (dressed in zombie gear of course)".
Upon further research, I discovered an organization called Thrill The World (TTW). It appears that these people have been doing just that for some time now. They broke/set the world record for largest simultaneous Thriller dance this past October and they will be doing it again in 2008!
Finally, a legit reason to dress like a zombie and dance in the streets (as if I needed a legit reason)!
If you've ever seen the Thriller video and thought "I wish I could do that" then here's your chance. We're going to get a group together and participate in the record breaking event for 2008, so if you are interested in joining us, make sure you send me an email so I can put you on the mailing list for next year's event.
The time and location are TBA for now, but stay tuned for more information as the date draws near.
In the meantime...practice your zombie make-up skills and start learning the dance!
