2011 Thrill The World

RESPONSIBILITY WAIVER


I the participant (or Guardian of the aforementioned minor), acknowledge that there are risks associated with participating in physical activities and dance. I understand that participation is completely voluntary and by participating I acknowledge that I am assuming all risks of accident, injury, illness and death which may occur during, or as a result of, participating in this event.


I, agree on my own behalf (or on behalf of the aforementioned minor), (and on behalf of any personal representatives, heirs, estate trustees or assigns) to a) release, indemnify and discharge Ines Markelle, Thrill the World, INESSENS, the ‘THRILL THE WORLD MIAMI event and or venue henceforth known as ‘the event’ and ‘the venue’, hosting the event including respective owners, organisers, directors, agents, employees, independent contractors, volunteers or legal representatives from any and all claims and causes of action (known or unknown) brought against you by any party arising out of my actions, including my negligence, while at the event, Thrill The World, INESSENS, the event and the venue are not responsible for any damage to, loss or theft of personal articles or property.


PHOTOWAIVER

I confirm for my image (or the aforementioned minor) and likeness to be photographed, filmed or videotaped on October 29, 2011, in relation to The Thrill The World Event and is the property of Ines Markelle, Thrill The World and INESSENS.


GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL

‘Dismissal’ means that the participant must cease participation in The Thrill The World Event and leave the venue premises immediately.


In an effort to maintain a safe environment for all participants, staff, employees, volunteers etc and the media present, at the Thrill The World Event we reserve the right to dismiss and remove any participant if you a) fail to follow the rules and regulations, b) cause a nuisance or a disturbance, c) commit any immoral or illegal acts, d) if we feel your actions may endanger yourself or others. We reserve the right to dismiss you without cause.


Use of alcohol or illegal substances before and during the event is prohibited and will result in dismissal from the event and the premises. Participants in possession of alcohol or illegal substances before, during or while on the property of the venue hosting the event, will be dismissed and removed from the event and the premises. Legal charges may be pressed.


Submission of the attached registration form indicates that I have read the registration form & Waivers, I understand the terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Join our zombie troupe!

This past weekend's classes were fun! Thanks to those of you that came out. It's still not too late to join. We teach the entire dance at each class and all ages/abilities are welcome.

Come out and learn the Thriller dance! We're a friendly bunch, we don't bite...hard.

We have classes every weekend in at least two locations.

Our next classes are Sunday Oct 2nd at FIU, PAX and UM. Check the links over on the right (under Events) to see the Facebook event pages for each class and RSVP.

The cost to participate this year is $5 per person. You can pay at the practices or by clicking the donate button on the right.

Since this is a charity event, we encourage all dancers to ask friends and family to sponsor their Thriller Dance (kind of like a walk-a-thon, only with bad hair and lots of blood). Please help us raise funds for the Tri-County Humane Society. The sponsorship form can be downloaded HERE.
