First Dance Practice this Sunday Aug 2nd

This Sunday, August 2nd is the first Thriller Dance practice (for those of you that want to get a head start on learning the dance).

The class will start at 2pm and will be held at 1311 Miller Drive in Coral Gables. This is the Student Lounge at the Univ of Miami School of Law.

Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes to move in, and water to drink.

Please email me if you are coming so I can get an idea of how many people are going to be there.

Venue

We have a venue for the dance classes my fuzzy zombies! The classes will be held at UM. The first class is Sunday August 2nd from 2 to 5 pm. Contact me if you want to be on the mailing list for more details (exact location, directions, etc) about classes and such.

Dance Workshop #1- Updated - Date Change

UPDATE: The date has been changed for the first Thriller dance class. It will be Sunday August 2nd. From 2 to 5pm. Location is still TBA.

We will be having the first Dance Workshop on Saturday August 1st from 2-5pm for those of us that would like to get an early start on learning the dance. The location is still in the works and will be announced as the date draws near.

We now return to our regular programming...

It's been about a year and a half since I discovered the Thrill The World event. I was all set to do this and then I got pregnant with my little guy and that went out the window. With the recent death of Michael Jackson, one of my favorite artists, I was quickly reminded that I had left this zombie-dance-fest on the back burner. I'd really like to do it this year, so time to pick up my little project and get the gears in motion.

Dust off your dancing shoes and join me this year on Saturday Oct 24 at 8:30 pm.

Even if you have two left feet and don't like to dance, I could still use you in other supportive roles (music, video, photography, fund raising, secretary, treasurer, media liason, witness, location scout, sugar daddy, lollipop holder, shoe shiner, mime, etc), so don't let your dancing allergies stop you from joining in on the fun.
